School Project · Developer
A self-check website that lets users type symptoms in English or Tagalog to assess their severity. Provides instant advice on whether to stay at home, visit a clinic, or seek emergency care.
Problem
Many people struggle to tell if their symptoms are mild, manageable at home, or need urgent care, and most symptom checkers aren’t optimized for local languages like Tagalog/Taglish.
Contribution
Built AwareToConsult, a mobile-friendly self-assessment web app that accepts symptom descriptions in English, Tagalog, and Taglish, then classifies severity into mild, manageable, or urgent care levels.
Outcome
Helps users make faster, more informed decisions about when to seek medical attention while improving accessibility for local communities through natural-language, multilingual input.

AwareToConsult is a self-assessment web app that lets users type their symptoms in English or Tagalog ("Taglish") to find out if what they're experiencing is mild, manageable at home, or serious enough to require urgent medical attention.
Built with accessibility and local context in mind, it uses simple language processing to identify symptoms and categorize their severity. Whether it’s a headache, lagnat, or chest pain, AwareToConsult helps users make informed decisions about when and where to seek care.
